An experiment in stupidity?

I know I am going to have a lot of medical bills coming up from my biopsies and I am getting a little panicked.  Okay, a lot panicked!  So I am looking for ways to earn extra money any way I can.  Lately, I have read about people who make money selling the coupons from their Sunday papers.  Intrigued, I went out today and bought five papers for the sole purpose of trying to sell the coupons from the inserts.  I spent $7.50 on them.  

It is my hope that I will not have to record this expense in my December recap because I will make a few bucks, but alas I am fearful that I will actually not be recouping my costs and I will end up losing money.  Time will tell.

Tell me, have any of you tried selling coupons on eBay?  Was it successful for you?  What's the best way to do this?  Since I am just experimenting, I have some listed as the complete insert, and others listed as groups of the same coupon.    I'll let you all know my results!
