Today's shopping trip was a small one. I needed milk, a couple items for New Year's Eve, and a few other items. I spent $9.77. Here is what I bought:
• 1 bag tortilla chips
• 1 package chicken flavored noodles (it was super cheap - $0.59 - and I plan to pair it with some broccoli I need to use up for a cheap, tasty and healthy-ish meal)
• 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
• 1 bag dried Great Northern Beans
• 2 bags baby carrots
• 1 gallon skim milk
• 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream

• 1 gallon skim milk
• bananas (2.18 lbs)

I'm jealous. I live in North CA no Aldis here :( and my nearest WinCo is about 45 miles away so when we get there we have a big list!!
ReplyDeleteI see so many people talking about Aldi and I so wish we had one nearby! We do have a Save-A-Lot but I don't think it's prices are as good as what I see people saying about Aldi! Heck a gallon of milk around here is right at $4 by itself!!
ReplyDelete$4 for a gallon of milk? WOW! I think I paid $2.39 (for a gallon of Skim milk) yesterday at Aldi and that was on the high side because it was a new shipment... the price often drops to $1.99. Even in our regular grocery stores milk is not $4 a gallon.
ReplyDeleteYou need to come to the midwest for a visit and stock up on milk (you can freeze it) and other groceries!
I love Aldi's!!
ReplyDeleteIn my area (South Florida), at Publix, milk is $3.35 per gallon - or at least it was the last time I bought milk there, which was before ALDI opened back in November. Since then, I've only bought milk at ALDI, where it is $1.99 per gallon. Talk about savings!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my linkup! Hope to see you again soon!
