While I am taking part in my $50 a month spent on food grocery challenge, I will be documenting what I eat each week. Some people have expressed concerns that I can't possible eat enough on just $50 a month. I hope this type of documentation puts their fears to rest.
This week, most of my food is coming from food that I already had in the house. Next week you will start to see more items from my recent shopping trips making their way into my meals. Assume that I drank water with my meals unless I specify otherwise.

ReplyDeleteWhat's in your lasagna soup? That sounds really good! If you have time, I'd love if you could share the recipe.
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty good. Wow I am impressed.
ReplyDeleteNo need to be concerned you are obviously eating well, from all the food groups.
ReplyDeleteMoriah, I got the recipe from the Thrifty Cheapskate blog (a blog I really enjoy!). Here is the link to the recipe: http://couponloversunite.blogspot.com/2011/01/cheesy-lasagna-soup-boy-is-this-good.html
ReplyDeleteDoes your family ever get tired of cereal and milk? My dd loves waffles, I make them ahead and freeze them for her to rotate with her cereal.
ReplyDeleteYep! I get tired of almost anything I eat. I do mix it up... sometimes it is toast and PB, sometimes a banana and PB, sometimes toast and jelly, sometimes cereal. On weekends I try to sometimes make something more substantial like eggs or pancakes.
